So here’s something that we’ve been working on throughout the indoor season on the yokomo cal3.1 on both carpet and high grip astroturf, It’s the ‘Stealth Motor Plate’
The conversion comprises of RW idlers specially made for the job, high quality 3d printed pa-12 nylon upright and short Waterfall, 7075 aluminum motor plate.
The plate enables you to shift your motor forwards giving you faster on power cornering by keeping the car flatter and more stable through the corners. It also adds to the high speed steering on the car.
We have tested this over the past few months, had some awesome results on carpet from it, also working really well on high grip astroturf, just helping carry that corner speed and keeping the car flatter
