This car has a unique 2mm T6 7075 chassis that lowers the Centre of Gravity and has amazing flex characteristics and great consistency which help dramatically in the corners compared to a standard GRP chassis, it also looks awesome with its hand polished finish!
The ACR has some other tricks to help it in the corners like the front arm and kingpin braces which adds tons of strength and also improves initial steering and response into corners by removing flex in the front end almost entirely!
The Battery tray on the ACR is also a complete new design for the oval scene as it is completely floating and has no bands or any straps that can add tension across the chassis, this battery tray means that the centre of the car can move as it needs to without any extra tension in the car which again helps the car be more consistent lap after lap! It also has 4 different battery placement options to allow you to change where the centre of mass is in the car!
This is also my second design with side rails on the chassis, to help control how the car flexes. Removing some screws and leaving others in helps dial in the car.
Last major feature of the car is the aluminium motor lowering spacer which drops the motor flush with the chassis which helps massively when transferring from left to right hand corners and centralises the weight of the motor in the car!
